Important Information Regarding Home Banking —
On behalf of the Board of Directors‚ I wish to apologize for the untimely interruption of service with our Home Banking system over the past two weeks. We have been monitoring the system 24/7. The Credit Union had installed a new computer system and telephone system. Please be patient and know that we are working diligently to get this problem resolved!
Our MacLine (Audio Response System) is available 24/7 to you to gather information on your account. The telephone numbers are (202) 547-4175 and (202) 547-4185. The same PIN you use for Home Banking is the PIN used to access the MacLine (Audio Response).
In observation of Columbus Day‚ the D.C. Teachers Federal Credit Union offices will be CLOSED on Monday‚ October 12‚ 2015.
For your convenience‚ our Surcharge Free ATM Networks (All Point and CO-OP)‚ Home Banking and MacLine services are available 24/7 to provide continuing and ongoing access to your account!

Please be advised that we are in the process installing a new computer system‚ that will greatly enhance our everyday automated efficiency and workflow. Additionally‚ we anticipate that this new system will provide you with a more efficient way of gaining access to your account electronically.
The conversion will start with a new core processor. The next phase will be the installation of our new telephone system‚ home banking and bill pay modules. You will notice more ease of use and more user friendly screens.
We will be experiencing some down time‚ and in an effort to minimize any interruption to you‚ our members‚ we have established times that we believe will have minimal impact. That time has been established as 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. As we approach these installations‚ we will inform you of the exact date and time of the changes via our website and through handouts at our offices.
There will be new processes and procedures to learn‚ and we will work with you to make sure your transition is performed with ease.

NEW PHISHING SCAM —
This fraudulent attempt to capture account information is done with an automated SMS/text message referring to themselves as CO-OP Mobile.
The text message requests members to enter their account information (including ATM PIN number). Members should avoid clicking links within the text messages and not respond to these messages that request account information.
CO-OP Mobile SMS/text Messages do NOT ask members for account information including ATM PIN numbers. Members that may have felt they have responded to this scam should contact the credit union to close and obtain a new card.
There are so many ways for perpetrators to attempt to get personal information, including the use of auto-dialers and text messages.

To protect yourself and your account NEVER release your PIN number to anyone
Monday and Thursday from 10 AM until 4:30 PM. Friday from 10 AM until 5:30 PM.
