e-Statements Now Available!

It’s understandable that many people continue receiving paper statements. It’s what they’re used to!

But you can break that cycle and do something to help our environment at the same time. Simply sign up for e-statements by clicking on the e-statements icon in Homebanking.

When statements are ready at the beginning of each month you will receive notification by e-mail. Then you can download your statement whenever you’re ready and wherever it’s convenient. You can save electronic versions of your statements on your computer and download them into Quicken or Microsoft Money.

Join the high-tech revolution. It’s green and very cool!

We've Upgraded Our Online Security

It's now even safer to process transactions on our website!
That’s because we've upgraded our online security to incorporate Multi-Factor Authentication methods. When you log in, there is a new set of steps to verify your identity. This new process makes it more difficult for unauthorized access to your personal information and you don’t have to install any software.

The major change is the addition of “challenge questions”, a personal identity code and use of an electronic keypad to enter your pin. We recommend that you do not save the information on the PC you regularly use to connect to us; this will prevent anyone that has access to your PC from logging on to your account. It’s simple to set up, and more importantly, it better protects your information!

All D.C. Teachers Federal Credit Union Online Banking users must convert to this login process. Click here to download instructions.

Protect Yourself From Phishing Scams

Phishing is a new type of identity theft that occurs online. Phishers send emails that appear to come from reputable sources, such as financial institutions or credit card companies. They tell you to click on an icon or link to be directed to the institution’s website.

The phony webpage or pop-up window directs you to type in personal information, such as your account number, password or Social Security number. If you provide this information, it goes directly to the crooks—not to the company with whom you transact business.
