Please be advised that the D.C. Teachers’ Federal Credit Union will be launching its new Visa Debit EMV (Chip) card beginning in March.
All members who currently have the Visa Debit Card will receive a new chip card. The distribution of the new chip card will start March 2018 with an anticipated completion date of May 2018.
You will receive your new chip card and then a few days later, you will receive your new PIN for your chip card. Please do not discard the carrier that your new chip card comes in; it contains valuable information about your new chip card. Please activate your new chip card upon receipt. To activate your card, you MUST first use it at an ATM using your NEW Personal Identification Number (PIN). Your previous visa debit card will be de-activated. Please destroy your old visa debit card.
We thank you for your patience and understanding and above all, we thank you for your continued support of your Credit Union!
